Pigs aren't very selective but I doubt any porcine animal would derive any significant sustenance value from an acorn (or even many of them).
Acorns have ~110 calories each. That's not bad. The pampered pig farmer I know gives them to his pigs. He buys them by the truck load from farmers with wood lots that are looking for spare change.
The trouble aint the calories, pigs love acorns, and they love calories...the problem is that there isn;t a high enough % of protein by weight so the time they spend rooting around for em can work out to be a loss.
Which brings us back round to the trump administration. Everybody;s trying to find enough meat in these fucking nuts to make it worthwhile but all anyone is doing is starving for their effort.
