Phoned IT.
"We'll be down soon."

Unplugged laptop, took it upstairs and banged on the door of our IT team.
"Yes?"
"I phoned earlier, twice, about the computer freezing."
"Yes?"
Shove laptop into his non committal hands."
"Fix it!"
"Could take a while."
"I'll just send my patients up to see you, then."
30 minutes later I returned with a spare laptop to my office.
Boss is waiting.
"Where were you? I need a consult."
