I agree, that you cannot discriminate based on sexual preference. I also don’t think that you can discriminate based on political views. I do think that you should not be forced to work on something that goes against your conscience.
Well generally Political views are not a protected class under discrimination laws, there are some state and local laws that include political affiliation but I think it's rare. Nobody is forcing anyone to work on anything against their conscience, discrimination laws are in place to ensure equal access to goods and services. Businesses can refuse service for whole hell of a lot more things then they can't, people seem to want to frame this as business owners being told to offer something they don't offer.
