They are a group of people FYI. And in many things, you are not allowed to discriminate because of politics, such as employment. If the list changes, is it ok to discriminate then? What is the difference; or isn’t this about reason, but rather blindly following the rules.
This is about not discriminating against people simply for who they are. We've seen what happens if people are allowed to discriminate based on inherent traits like race, age, sex, orientation. It quickly becomes a shitty situation for everyone in that group - they get punished simply for existing as they are. It's about compassion and empathy you dingleberry. It's like you're purposefully misreading what's going on and what the intent of these laws is.
