The days of politeness ended when he started his campaign. His dangerous and divisive rhetoric is toxic to the concepts of checks on power. We now have a President, who has said, on top of his years of scapegoating, vilification, and demagoguery of multiple groups and even war heros, the free press, and his own intel, said just this week "I could pardon myself."
This has to be met with the strongest condemnation if we are to keep and save our western concepts of pluralism and checks on power.
I see no redeeming qualities in that pile of shit.
