It'll be interesting to see if 2020, Dems pick someone who will attempt to out Circus the ringmaster, or someone of substance. My gut says we'll get some Clown on Clown action. And maybe now, that's the right way to try and win. Who knows if a reasonable choice for president is even viable anymore.
Who was the last one? Bush in 88? Then we had Saxman, Cowboy (pew pew), Cool black guy, and Reality star. I don't think how qualified they were to be president was the primary factor in any of those wins.
