Sarah Huckabee is not a 'group'. She was denied service for what she in particular has said and done.
I'm not sure it's strategically sound in the long run, but it's legal and Red Hen was within their rights.
It's not like Huckabee doesn't have a choice about her televised behavior. I get it if she thinks the pay is good enough to do what she does, or even if she's following her heart, but there are consequences to your actions as a public figure, especially if you're pushing to find out where the limits of civil discourse are. Apparently justifying a policy of separating children from their parents who are legally seeking asylum goes past the limits for a lot of people.
However, the political ramifications of this sort of action may include motivating more of the Trump base to show up on election day, and could swing some elections in the favor of the Republicans, which detracts from the demotivating effect the separation policy was having on some of the less committed supporters.
And given the business Red Hen is doing now, I doubt this will be the last similar incident.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
