If this glorious light can't prove it's own existence, it's a pretty damn weak and stupid deity. Just have the light show up.
And if this all-powerful whatever-you-fantasize-it-is gets all bent out of shape because some hominids on an obscure little planet make fun of it's name -- well, it can protest all by itself.
