But why do we need people to hide away in the mountains? If I was Allah I'd avoid the use of middlemen and reveal myself to humanity clearly so there was no doubt. I'd also implant the entirety of the Quran into people's brains so that everyone is born a Hafiz. That way, nobody needs to study the Quran as they have it ingrained in their brains. That way, if they want to dispute the Quran at least they'd have all already in the memory without needing to research it.
I'd remove the need for "prophets". I'd cut out the middleman. Allah --> Angel Gabriel --> Muhammad --> Da'i/Sahabah --> people of Earth: the chain has too many links. I'd ensure that when I have finished the Quran every human - from Adam and Eve to today - has knowledge of it without requiring fallible humans to try and convince humanity.
I wouldn't reveal the Quran in drips and drabs over a period of over twenty years (like a few sentences a day when I can be bothered). I'd made sure that everyone can be a Hafiz from birth so there can be no doubt. Nothing wrong with giving everyone perfect memory of the Quran right?
If I feel is affects free will and didn't want to make everyone Hafiz from birth I'd make angels do Dawah and then them to every nation. Angels > Humans. Do you think my ideas are better or do you like what Allah has done?
I don't see why you need to blame a fictional character for human stupidity. And certainly don't compound the stupidity by presenting it in a different way, however hypothetical.
Sure, the only way to prove a deity exists is to have it show up and say hello. Have it drag some of those angel thingies along with it, that might be fun.
