And that is how fascism creeps in. Each step towards an authoritarian government seems normal, explainable or only a little bit surprising but would have been unthinkable two steps earlier.
Trump gets away with gaslighting because it becomes normal and his ego means that he has to believe it himself.
Ask yourselves, what's going to be normal two years from now?
I honestly don't know, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared for my kids and their future.
