My mom died a Catholic, and was a mostly republican voter. While our overall climate in America has been hijacked by wealth and the religious right, I can tell you my mom was not evil.
How her party got her to vote against her own self interests, just like middle America farmers are getting screwed as predicted, still didn't make her evil as a teacher or individual.
The worst part was always that when I asked her questions about teacher pay, guns, gay marriage, you name it, she agreed with me 95% of the time, but shut down as soon as I mentioned party. My anger isn't at every single voter I don't agree with. My anger is at the propaganda the GOP has sold to con people.
Putin isn't poor, I am quite sure he has financial global investments, so even he is a "capitalist" kleptocrat ruling over a Russian Orthodox Christian majority. Just like Fidel Castro was a kleptocrat whom had an estimated personal wealth of 800 million. The Saudi Royal Family too, are Sunni Muslims, theocrat authoritarians and kleptocrats.
Having said that, I will not abandon any individual who values western pluralism. My mom did, I simply hate that she got suckered. It took Trump's vile campaign tactics, prior to her death, for her to vote for Bernie.
