For starters, it makes you look like a dumb-ass but of course if you don't care about that...
Secondly, "Un" by itself isn't even a name at all, not even in the sense that "Vlad" is a shortened version of Vladimir. Korean given names are two-part and are never shortened.
Maybe it looks particularly stupid to me because I've lived in South Korea and know that a Korean would never refer to someone by part of their given name.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
