I think that far too many christians feel compelled to deny basic facts about the narrative, as though there were any need. Accepting them for what they are and trying to draw whatever wisdom (of any kind) is contained is an honest way to approach a magic book. It's open to christians, you manage it...wtf is wrong with the rest of yall?
