@negatio. In response to your post to Abaddon_ire, which I'm not going to even attempt to quote, fair enough if you're not computer savvy. But for the most part the forum buttons do the hard work for you. May I ask if you're replying on a computer or mobile device? If on a computer... ie using the full 'desktop' site... all you have to do is press the 'Reply' button and click with the mouse to put the cursor below the quoted post that is shown and then start typing. If you're on a mobile device... and thus using the mobile site... then tap on the 'Quote' button at the bottom of a post to reply to it, then tap below the quoted post... ie after the tag that reads . Or if you're trying to write above the post, put the cursor before the opening tag: . This also applies if you're using 'source mode' on the desktop site. If you're just replying to single posts you can't go far wrong with that, but I can understand that it could get confusing if you're doing more than one at a time, but the general rule is quoted content goes between an opening and closing quote tag... and the closing one is the one with the /. So make sure you're not writing content inside a quote tag rather than between it and its closing tag.
Code:
[/quote] (ie put cursor here to reply after the quote)
Code:
