2. See context by reflecting over surrounding verses.
3. See context by reflecting over that with the chapter.
4. See context by reflecting that with Quran.
5. Integrate it with the message of Quran and then the place of halal meat that in Shariah explained in Quran and it's wisdom therein (or if you don't believe it's wisdom, at least, find out what it claims is it's wisdom).
Why should I take the trouble? Islam means nothing to me, and it never will. I don't give a pair of charbroiled ferret's testicles why Muslims eat some meat and not others. Not only do the intricacies of Islam bore me stiff, it isn't any of my bloody business. Wanna eat a cow? Eat a cow. Don't wanna eat a pig? Don't eat a pig.
