Tartarus Sauce (also a defunct member here) told me all about it. Apparently out of a desire to promote "free speech" the TTA leadership was allowing pedophiles to openly talk about their views on pedophilia.
Free speech doesn't mean that people have to listen and I'm sure people on the forum didn't want to be a part of the pedo culture. The fiasco was brought to a conclusion with what was probably an epic ban-fest.
