When I have replied to some posts I haven't seen how I can not duplicate images...you can see where I goofed up in the pet pictures thread for an example of what I am talking about. I only wanted to respond, not bring all the prior stuff along. Things are a bit different in this world and I wasn't terribly versed in some of technicalities after years at TTA.

If you want the words of that post and not the pics, you can delete them in the quoted text. I think you knew that already, so the other way to do it is to use the "New Reply" button. But it is only at the end of the thread, so the connectivity to the post you want to respond to may be lost if someone posts before your post publishes. HTH
