It looks like the research is based entirely on surveys.
Weirdly it's a survey filled out by men reporting how many sexual assaults they're making over time.
There's parts of the research results that are obvious and I wouldn't have thought needed spending money on researching.
Men who reported themselves making less sexual assaults reported themselves feeling less hostility towards women and having beliefs that supported rape.
Is it science based on self reporting your feelings? And relying on college students to accurately self report the sexual assaults they committed?
It mentions pornography use in a list of other things I guess have been scientifically concluded to be toxic masculinity, I thought I saw a study once showing the exact opposite, that pornography use correlates to less sexual assault.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
