A masculine man does not need to grope. Men that need to grope, or rape, or sexually assault women are not masculine, in fact they are the opposite. These are wimps that cannot get women, and have grown to hate women. True masculine men will not have to resort to such things as I've read in this thread. The doctor that rubbed his dick on dancefortwo's leg was not displaying toxic masculinity, he was displaying wimpiness. Weak he was. Using his position as a doctor to be close to women in powerless situations is not a masculine trait. The attraction only went one way, and he knew that so he "inadvertently" rubbed himself on her, giving himself a thrill. There are stories all over the internet of women talking about their hot doctor, and how they wish he would have tried to make a move on them in the examination room "damn my doctor was so hot I wish he would have kicked out that female nurse and just nailed me right on the exam table." That's masculinity, and it's not toxic.
As a society we need to stop blaming men, and start blaming losers. Women hold the title as selectors. Since they are (generally) the smaller, weaker of the sexes, it's always best to let them make the first move. Their first move isn't always physical however, so this sometimes leads to confusion. I've had women I believed were ready to be kissed, giving all the signs, sitting close, eye contact, biting their lower lip and when I move in for the kiss they turn their head away. Perhaps they want to but are worried about the extent of my intentions. Is she wondering if l will stop at a kiss? Have other men before me instantly grabbed her breast as soon as the lips touch? Is that sexual assault, or is it ok to try once as long as you don't try again after having your hand pushed away? Do we really need to write out a contract beforehand nowadays?
I think Trump had a point when he said he can just grab them by the pussy. Maybe not these days as a 70 year old man, but in his 20-40 age range he could probably get any woman he wanted. He didn't mean he could walk up to a random woman on the street and just grab them. But in the setting he described, the woman would know who he was, and voluntarily chose to be alone with him. They're not in his presence for an autograph, let's not be stupid. If he tried to grab her, and she slapped his hand away, he would simply move on to the next woman.
Trump = masculine
Bill Cosby = loser, not masculine, not toxic masculinity. Just loser.
How do you square “Trump = masculine” with “a masculine man who doesn’t needs to grope”?
The dude admitted it.
