Both dietary superstitions and gender role superstitions are not a patent to Islam nor invented by Islam.
Jews don't eat pork as well as Muslims don't. Catholics dont eat fish on Friday. And religion worldwide bar none, are still 99% patriarchal to this day. There are female nuns but no female Popes. There are some female Rabbis now, moreso in the west, but certainly not in within conservative Jewish communities. Buddhists have female monks, but there has never been a female Dali Lama.
Religion only explains the social norms of any given society, but they do little to nothing to explain that we are the same species and females are equal to males regardless. And eating pork or beef or fish will only kill you if you don't cook it properly.
