Why halal meat???

At work.

We both agreed that modern farming practices (Such as participated in by countries such as, say Australia, Brittain etc) would, indeed, produce such humane treatment of animals when it came to them being rendered inert.

Some  halal farms do it exactly like that, but just recite God's Name before they are killed.

Some people think they are innovating, others believe with modern technology, this is the human and Islamic thing to do.

*Nods* Indeed.

Though.... is that a 'Good' thing that the theology evolves to fit/match the evolving and changing understanding of the world around us?

Also...... How then can one answer a question to which the meanings/definition of the word changes?
