Agreed.
I suffer from fairly horrible mental illness, and have since childhood. Both of my tattoos represent milestones in my life, related to my treatment and recovery. They serve as reminders when I'm symptomatic - that THIS is who I am. THIS is why I don't give up. I CAN be healthy, even if I don't feel that way right now or can't see the way.
