Cutting away your bias towards religion, why do you think it is so implausible the Universe was created by a higher power? Do you honestly believe this is all an accident?

I just see overwhelming evidence for things that humanity cannot currently understand without enlightenment.
I also just wanted to have a fairly clear post explaining my position on UFO's before sometime tried to argue the non-existence of them
I think there are other life forms out there. Statistically speaking, the chances of other life is huge. 500 million life capable planets in this galaxy alone. One or two of them are bound to have advanced intelligent life. Now what I cannot believe is that these advanced beings would have any crazy belief in some god like we do. I'd think they are some what, more grown up and mature. Perhaps they know where all this came from and with the knowledge they bring, religions here will face it's greatest threat yet. Advanced knowledge of the cosmos from a far more advanced race.
Knowledge has always been religions greatest threat. Next to sceptical minds.
So I seriously doubt any very advanced race will have crazy nut case beliefs like we do. We haven't even learnt how to take care of ourselves yet. We're fucking up the environment and still wage wars on each other for the dumbest of reasons.
