So I could just get both and see which feels better. Anyway, if you do get Fortnite... and if I get a PS4... would you fancy playing it together? Alpha has said he'd be happy to play with people from here. I think that would be great fun
Yes, that is what I meant by third person perspective.
Depending on when you can realistically get a PS4 console, the PS5 is being released November 2020.
I am downloading Fornite right now on the console: about 25% completed. Yes, I will play with you when you get your console.
Well I'm only just learning about PlayStations now tbh but as I understand it a new 'slim' type of PS4 has been released recently... not that I care about that one way or the other but just that that happens to be the state of affairs as I'm looking into buying one... in 500gb and 1tb versions but at the same time a new PS4 'Pro' console all to do with '4K' is also being released. It's all new to me really... so I don't know what's best to get but I doubt I'd have any justification to get the pro version.
What I am curious about though is whether the judderiness I saw earlier was caused by the graphics capabilities of my laptop or by the Internet connection, because if it's the latter then getting a PS4 might not make any difference to the smoothness of the gameplay. So I basically need to find out how dependent that game is on a fast Internet connection; ie it took me about two hours to download and the fastest download speed I reached was 1.8MB/s, which is not great. So whether I stick with it... and/or get a playstation will depend a lot on that... but if I do then thanks, I'll look forward to playing with you
Anyhoo, gotta go to bed now so goodnight
