I'm more worried about the conspiracy surrounding it, and the people who are keeping it from being investigated. There is a clear agenda, with some dark secrets being protected.
It’s astonishing, because as I showed in the police video, the conspiracy hasn’t even been hidden. They are being given unprecendented protection.
Sure yes, I’m working through the case and trying to figure out what are the likeliest scenarios. I find it interesting to do so. It's thinking out loud, feel free to ignore! Maybe something important will emerge. I already have one particular special scenario in mind, I’m going to see how it pans out. I’m cataloguing my thought process.
That latest video series is absolutely astounding. I don’t know who the guy is, but his detective skills are amazing.
I’m now thinking it’s quite possible Kate came up with the abduction story herself on the spot, having returned to find Maddie missing; while unknown to her, Gerry was in the process of hiding her. I’m looking into the idea that he is the "Smith man". This is all incredibly consistent with the evidence, I just need to check a few details. In such a case I have a lot less sympathy for her, because she falsified the abduction story herself. We already know it was falsified, but it wouldn’t have been due to pressure from Gerry.
PS: I’m aware of the irony of referring to conspiracies and having theories about them. It means there can never actually be conspiracies, because conspiracy theories are crazy by definition! Haha, yeah. Obviously the phrase really means unsupported theories. The idea Maddie died is far from unsupported. My current working hypotheses of the whole thing are partially supported, but I don’t expect anyone to take them too seriously.
Yeah, it’s rather ironic that their defence is that they were criminally negligent. I’ve found more evidence which cements just how negligent they were, further than the obvious.

It is at this time very hard to get further evidence since so many years gone by.

The first thing that struck me was that the parents left their very young children alone at a holiday resort while they went to dinner.
What happened to the little girl is an unsolved mystery that likely will remain that way.
I do love a good conspiracy story but in the end, that's what it is - a story. And I see that not just we in the US are prone to conspiracy stories like the Kennedy assassination or the first moon landing. Human nature, I suppose.
Conspiracies of this level also require a substantial number of people to be in on it and never breathe a word about it to anyone, which I just don't find credible in this case.

Grow the fuck up, people.
I disagree.
Exhibit A: any of his posts in this thread. He’s not just posting in support of a conspiracy theory, he’s seemingly obsessed by it. That’s a nut in my book.
