Quote:1. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
How is this scientifically accurate? 'The universe had a beginning' in no wise equates to this verse. The universe could be self-created, or it could simply be the current phase of an infinitely oscillating cosmos.
Quote:2. Now the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
EVERY clause here fails.
1. The Earth was never 'formless' and the term 'void' indicates non-existence.
2. 'over the surface of the deep' doesn't indicate that the entire surface of the planet was covered with water.
3. There is no scientific evidence for 'the Spirit of God'.
4. As in #2, 'hovering over the surface' doesn't indicate a water-covered Earth.
You might be an idiot. Please get yourself checked out.
