I forgot to mention --- in the primordial days of RC helicopters --- with no gyro - each control input affected the others. If you increased power - ( collective) the resultant increase in torque causes anti- rotational yaw, which meant you needed to increase counter tail rotor, which induced roll countering the TR, which meant you had to increase ect, ect, ect....
It kept you busy. You worked on it for hours, flew it for minutes, and got headaches from the intense concentration needed to make it fly.
