Nope, your quote said/says explicitly dust from the gound.
Nothing special. Nothing 'Tree' or other wise 'Carbon' sounding.
Unless your diety blew a tree up Adam's nose?
Or some other kind of carbon based stuff.
Still doesn't help get said material to completely exchange with the original dirt, though.
"Maybe ask yourself why 'dirt' is composed of organic matter."
It's not, though. There's lots of random minerals, elements and stuff scattered through it.
"Additionally it contains minerals the human body needs. Which is why we grow food in soil. Those nutrients go into the fruits and vegetables, then we consume them. We die and that organic material goes back into the dirt, which can grow more plants, which the next person can eat. Of course we can also do this through composting waste."
Yup. All the organic stuff is scattered through the dirt.
The bulk of it, though? That's silicate etc.
That's why it takes plants so long to gather it all up and make new/more 'plant' out of it.
Why the 'Dirt' gets depleted of al the stuff 'In' it and has to be left 'Fallow' or have fertiliser put through it.
You're now talking about something inside the something that your diety some how made people out of.
The story is getting weirder and weirder.
Not at work.
