Keep in mind --- the IRS knows how much he makes - and they don't seem to have any issues about him not paying the correct amount.
So it makes sense that he doesn't show his hand.
He' s still an asshole, of course - just not a stupid asshole.
Can you imagine if someone working for the IRS stepped up and decided to take the bullet and leak his returns? That person would probably be in prison for the rest of their life. (Of course unless he was pardoned by a Democratic president) But can you imagine the balls that person would have to do that?
Why would they do that? It is a crime, plain and simple. I wouldn't think that they had balls. I would think that they are a stupid criminal. And you think that a Democratic president might pardon them? Why? Because the law should be this arbitrary thing that we apply in accordance with our partisan bias? We can break the law and it's OK, but if someone on the other side of the partisan divide breaks the law we throw the freaking book at them?
