I suspect in the coming years, a few of those who are denied return will pull off some truly spectacular acts of mass terrorism against the west.
Of course, unlike 911, when it was shocking that a relatively complacent but united and unchallengeable Supreme west could have been subjected to such an act of mass terrorism, in the coming years, acts like repeat of 9/11 would not seem so extraordinary as the west undergo the travails of decline through fragmentation, sharpened multi-polar geopolitical competition, internal class and racial division, and sedition at the highest levels by flag wrapped self-serving traitors like trump.
