Have a funny story on me: While driving with my sister we were unable to take the short route (past a mosque) due to one way streets. There were several cars directly in front of us presumably also taking "the long way round." I said "It's divine intervention - Allah won't let us go that way - this whole convoy is Christian." We were in intermittent hysterics for at least 5 mins.
ETA: You probably had to be there.
I guess.
Last time I had my family in hysterics, was on a XMAS eve while I was home on leave. They insisted I go with them to midnight mass. I had been out with mates, and was feeling no pain.
Car in front had an older man driving slowly. Dad said "oh for goodness sake!" (my dad would not say 'shit' for a shilling)
fredd pipes up, "yeah, get out of the f--- way you dopey old c---" I guess not so much hysterics as a funereal silence.
