Today, she has been on airline cabin crew for 30 years, has a life style she loves ,and wages most people only dream about. (wages and conditions have changed for new employees greatly, but not hers, as she's an old chook)
Why did you guys talk her out of it?
I can say that the girl I dated was super stressed out all the time. While it has paid off for her, since she's now taken a leadership role in some company in NYC, it doesn't for plenty of people. For a lot of people it seems to be a dead end.
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.
