She didn't end up dead interacting with police. Just like Roger Stone was a fucking asshole for trying to equate his arrest to being treated like like Bin Laden.
She like Stone are white, have money and power and can make bail. But minorities, even accused of shoplifting, or pot possession are far more likely to be treated more severely than a white person charged with a similar crime.
