Well if it wasn't you certainly didn't a poor job expressing your real intent . So no misrepresentation  just your poor communication here, Thus my feelings don't factor into this .

Telling yourself that doesn't make it true. And yet, even if it was true (that I was communicating poorly), it still doesn't make your assumptions any more accurate.
