Eh, I don't know if age makes career politicians any wiser. Just more corrupt.

Also, the current president is 72 but he acts as if he's only 13. I guess the mental age matters more than the physical.

Honestly, re-read my response because you didn't actually counter it. That's a poor analogy. Being good and experienced at politics, if anything, is a bad thing and not indicative of your ability to serve as POTUS. I want somebody who has a fundamental understanding of political psychology and is willing to do the leg work and research required to figure out which public policy ideas will work and which won't. Somebody who can rise above partisanship and do what is right, not pander. The prerequisite for that isn't age. Because Donald Trump certainly doesn't click those boxes. Trump is crazy.

Pete, however, isn't doing too bad of a job so far. He's the only level-headed, sane progressive out there. He's not going hyper-socialist, but he's acknowledging that American capitalism is flawed and needs some tweaking. That's the sort of candidate I've been waiting for.
