Again, I can't tell others what to think of the show. But like I said in a prior post, I identified with it, because I saw a bunch of oddballs like me dealing with the same discrimination of being different.
HA! I KNEW SOMEONE WOULD GET IT!
Long ago, I loved the episode where Lenard explained to Penny how the elevator got fucked up. It is funny, I should have expected it to be fixed in the final episode, but I literally did not see that coming.
My favorite idiosyncrasy was Sheldon'd door knock.
" Soft Kitty" was my favorite on going joke. My late mother loved the song, but didn't catch all the words and begged me listen to any episode to get the words correct. After a few times, my mom loved knowing all the lyrics and would sing along with it anytime I did on my own, or when we were watching an episode with that song in it.

At least I don't feel too cheated like so many other "last shows" have made me feel. Although, seriously---even if Sheldon's mother wouldn't get on a plane to see him get the Nobel prize I still really did expect Leonard's mother to. She always liked Sheldon better than Leonard and could have really rubbed it in.
And yes, I knew EXACTLY what this thread was just by the title.

Found the clip.
