IDK about that. I really am pining for the return of some of the people who left. Things have settled down now, and maybe people are just testing the waters and considering coming back. I hope that's the case, anyway.
New people coming in is fine too. But, in the long run, none of that really matters.
A forum's worth is better measured by the amount of substantive discussions it has than posts per day. To me, substance is key. That's one of my favorite things about AF. Lots of substance here.
And, sure, there are other metrics by which to measure a forum's worth, but all of those metrics are way more important than posts per day. As I see it, anyway.

Well, as I see it, if people do return, maybe it's best that they don't reopen an old wound. Returning and ignoring all the BS that went down is really the only reasonable thing to do besides not returning at all.
Hurtful things were said and done and at the very least there are some apologies that should be made in certain cases. Those could be done via PM and wouldn't have to be a public thing.
Ignoring bad behavior doesn't mean it didn't happen nor does it mean it's forgotten.
