And, all of that presupposes that there is no "new physics" yet to be discovered.  The worst-case scenario is that the ultimate origins of the Cosmos is unknown, and perhaps, unknowable.  It's just the either-or fallacy to claim that if Science cannot come-up with a naturalistic explanation than the default is that "God did it".
