If a forum member has set his profile to hide his online presence then I consider it rather bad form and a breach of etiquette for moderators to announce his login activity.

Huh? I didn’t shit on him or out his login activity. I just pointed out that I am not cool with posters who post and then don’t engage. In fact, I’m pretty sure it violates our rules. We’ve definitely actioned that before. This isn’t anyone’s blog.
