So legit question for the mods and any of the women of AF: has anyone here actually been sexually harrassed on this forum? I understand that damn near every woman (and many men) has experienced something somewhere in the ballpark, I just want to gauge how big a problem it is here specifically.
I mean, I’ve been a member here for almost five years, and I’ve never had anyone bother me in that way until Mr. deepthroat sock-puppet master came along. And, to Haipule’s credit, he did stop when asked, and apologized afterward. Besides that, the only other actionable incident that I can remember was a member getting a temp ban a few years ago for posting sexually violent content directed at another member. Like Boru said, it’s more about closing a loophole in rules in case we need to justify actioning on someone, rather than a reaction to some perceived widespread problem of harassment on the forum.
