Now what's funny to me is that posters who aren't bothered at all by unfair statements about religious people suddenly turn into offended snowflakes if it appears I've said a bad thing about a member of a protected group.

Didnt you just *forget* about the "recently deceased" part in your foul comparison?
What *unfair* statements about the religious am i not bothered about?
Do you think its ok for you (or anyone else) to slader the recently deceased?

It goes from "fuck 'em if they can't take a joke" to a deep concern that social norms may not have been scrupulously observed.

Funny, when it becomes about you and your own failings, you suddenly seem to have much lower standards about using precisely the correct words and descriptions compared to discussing Aristotle or Aquinas´ideas. Im not saying anyone else on this board is better than you, but its you constantly pointing out how you stand out above every commoner here in terms of good behaviour.
