A postscript to "what happened to me"

The person you slandered can't do that. Yet, instead of realising your fault in this, you decided to double down with a foolish comparision.

When it comes to insults, as they say, sticks and stones can break my bones, words, never will.

It wasn't slander because what I said is true.

Would you be offended by insults against Osama bin Ladin, even though he's not here to defend himself? I think you wouldn't. 

So what I said is true: we feel comfortable insulting people we don't approve of, and apply a different standard to people we do approve of. 

What surprises me is that people are so adamant that it is good to insult the living -- who may be hurt -- and not the dead -- who can't be.

I don't think it is true, you have certainly not demonstrated it to be true. The deceased certainly was NOT a bully, I was on the forum for 4 years with this guy others even longer and I never saw him bully anyone he was a cool dude with a great sense of humour he was also a kind person, I saw him stick up for newcomers several times even when they behaved less than optimally. So that's one lie you've told that I'm almost certain of for starters. 

You just repeated your attack on the dead man in the post quoted above which is pretty damn vile but at this point not entirely to be unexpected as you have absolutely zero integrity, any shreds of respect I still had for you at this point have now evaporated completely, I will waste no more time on you.
