Oh and a lot of Bernie supporters on the Bernie Reddit are delusional as fuck. People aren't going to eventually magically gravitate to Bernie in large numbers, since he already has high name recognition and is doing relatively poorly in the polls inspire of that. People who are still shopping around looking for the right candidate don't want Bernie.
It' still too early to predict either way. But I also don't yet see who takes him out. Hillary was somewhat unlucky to only have had Bernie to run against. Anyone who didn't like Hillary had only one place to go in the Democratic nomination process. The more liberal side of the party is splitting their votes with only Biden really left as a viable moderate alternative. The September debate will clear away some of the noise from people who have no chance at the nomination. I'd say we'll know how strong Biden is when the field gets down to 3-4 or less candidates.
