Yes, and? I live in good old holy roman catholic Ireland. The faith is so thick one could stir it like porridge. In fact, it is so thick that people covered up child murder to protect the priests. Now, I am not proud of the cover up, it's true. But I am proud of being a cog in the wheel that exposed that abuse.

Loaded question. Do not do that. As many members are here, that is as many journeys and every one is vastly different. I can speak personally though. As a child, I gave up Santa as a childhood fantasy. But I went one step further. Beardy bloke in the sky, can be everywhere at once, watches you all the time, knows if you have been good or bad? God is just Santa in a better suit. Do you believe in Santa?

Sure, feel free, but be under no illusion. You are being judged and rightly so. So was I, in turn, as a noob. The problem is the proclivity of the god-botherers to pretend to be angst ridden morons so as to trojan horse their deity du jour. It is so dirt common a tactic that inevitably, people become desensitised to the abject dishonesty.
