Maybe the children did this entirely on their own, with older children helping some of the younger ones. As a surviving father I can assure you that there are rainy days when you don't give a flying fuck what your kids do as long as they do it QUIETLY. "Go draw on the walls of the cave.....daddy's got a flint to knap." Seems reasonable. |
