How does the fact the scientists are unable (yet) to create life, consciousness, or a universe, give any credence that a god is responsible for these things?
Even if humans are never able to do these things, this does not, in any way, provide any evidence that a god is responsible.
Your claim has its own burden of proof, that is in no way made stronger by scientists inability to do something.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
