Demonic possessions are seen as possible, but isolated to the time of Christ. You don't come across it in the Old Testament, or really anywhere else.
I also don't think stereotypical possessions present themselves the way Schizophrenia does; perhaps someone hearing voices can be seen as having a demonic encounter, but all the twisting and growling doesn't sound like schizophrenia. Clinical psychology isn't my specialty, however.
Well, that's not really true. Plenty of Christian denominations deal with exorcisms, though I would probably agree that Catholics, specifically, are more into it than the other denominations.
Also, I think schizophrenia contains a pretty broad range of symptoms and issues, so I wouldn't necessarily rule anything out. Anyway, people can have more than one mental illness... you're not actually suggesting that demonic possession is real, are you?

So, 9/11 wasn't disastrous enough to be worth talking about?
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.
