The brute, unalterable, indisputable fact remains that Trump could have called off the operation at any time. Since he did not, the mission took place. That the mission was a success is inarguably NOT due to Trump (we can agree on that much, at least): The success was due to the people on the ground and - to be honest - a fair bit of luck.
But there can't be any doubt, nor even any rational argument, that Baghdadi would still be alive if Trump hadn't given the go-ahead.

By willing to concede nothing if the decision turned out tobe wrong, and thereby risking nothing, he adds absolfuckinglutely nothing with his decision.
