Of all the studies I’ve looked at that say spanking doesn’t work (and in fact, has the opposite effect), I have to concede that I didn’t find any data sets of parents who reserved it for the sort of severe and potentially dangerous incidents that Khem, Athene, and Shell , et alium have been talking about.
