If you have any questions for me I would be happy to answer them to the best of my ability, just list them at the end of your response to these questions.
- How would you describe your own religious background and church involvement?
- How would you describe God?
- What do you think is important in life?
- What do you think it takes to be straightened out (or made right) with God?
- How would you describe Jesus?
- What are your thoughts about churches today?
-Grew up in a Pentecostal household. We were fanatical, devoted, sincere Christians.
-There are thousands of gods that people have made up. You would need to be more specific with your question. Regardless, most reflect the tyrannical nature of the people who made them up.
-Family.
-Accept Jesus in your heart. I’m kidding. Since I don’t believe in any of the possible gods you could be referring to, this question is null.
-Another contradiction in the Bible.
-Regardless of the religion, churches are a place where people gather to worship a nonexistent being and feel togetherness with others who share the same beliefs. It’s like when I go to the bar on poetry nights and we all read our stuff and feel that we belong. If it makes you happy to congregate, I support you, just stay the hell out of our politics and pay taxes.
Peace and love.
